You may not always see him, but you always hear his work. Meet GrandProth Auto — known to most as Adam and to the STIFLE crew simply as GPA — the man behind the soundboard who makes sure every show sounds exactly the way it should. ????️
Born and raised in Foley, MN, Adam has been a vital part of the STIFLE team for years — and at our bigger shows, he's the guy at the helm of the sound board making sure every guitar riff, every bass line, every drum hit, and every vocal cuts through the mix perfectly. No small task. And before the first note even plays, he's already been there — boots on the ground, setting up, troubleshooting, and making sure everything runs smoothly. The show doesn't start without GPA. Full stop.
His musical taste? Heavy, powerful, and unapologetically bold. American Head Charge, Fear Factory — and of course, his personal favorite, STIFLE. We may be biased, but we love that answer.
When he's not behind the soundboard, Adam is a true outdoorsman at heart — hunting, fishing, and camping his way through every season. The kind of guy who's equally at home in the woods as he is at a live music venue.
And now for the detail that stops every conversation cold — Adam owns one of only TWO canes that Alice Cooper threw into the crowd at a live show. Let that sink in. Out of an entire arena of outstretched hands, that cane found Adam. If that's not rock and roll destiny, we don't know what is.
He doesn't need a spotlight. He just needs a soundboard and a mission — and STIFLE is lucky every single time he shows up.
